October 20 was the second annual International Sloth Day! Organized by Colombia’s Fundación AIUNAU (a wildlife rescue non-profit), the day aims to raise awareness of sloths and the challenges they face.
This adorable video, by writer Lucy Cooke, shows some of the rescue activities at AIUNAU. (It was filmed in March; since then, most of the sloths featured in the video have been rehabilitated and successfully released back into the wild!)
