On my Facebook wall someone flipped over the so-called anthropomorphising dog’s feelings. She insisted it is wrong. Period. Then unfriended us when we didn’t agree to let her be our FB final authority.
I would say that all animals, including humans, share many emotions in common. Every close observer knows that, although we don’t always know what exactly animals are feeling and wish we would. Heck, many people don’t know what they’re feeling. On top of this, properly reading the signs so that we interpret well is another challenge, one of the main reasons people get into therapy.
It’s two legged beasts who insist on the superiority of our species that are ruining the planet. My guess is that most animal lovers have no disagreement there.
